About This Product

EVIO uses advanced technology that suppresses the effects on the bodies of humans and animals while retaining the virus suppression and sterilization abilities inherent to ultraviolet light, making it possible to use it in manned environments, which was not possible with conventional ultraviolet wavelengths. This is a completely new UV light.

■What eVIO can do

Even in a manned environment, spaces and surfaces can be sterilized using ultraviolet light. ・Space sterilization eVIO is highly effective in sterilizing spaces. Particularly when operating in a manned environment, by irradiating ultraviolet light with only harmful wavelengths removed, it is possible to sterilize the entire space without affecting the human body, keeping it safe and clean. ・Object surface sterilization eVIO is also effective in sterilizing surfaces. Especially in an unattended environment, continuous irradiation is possible and the sterilization effect can be maximized.

■eVIO safety

We have established safety standards for use in manned environments. (Please follow the usage instructions in the instruction manual) ・222nm ultraviolet light Ultraviolet light is light with a wavelength of 10-400 nm, which is shorter than visible light. Ultraviolet rays have a strong sterilizing effect, but the wavelength of 222 nm is extremely useful because it retains its sterilizing effect without affecting the human body. ・Less impact on the human body The absorption coefficients of proteins and stratum corneum are different between 222nm ultraviolet light and conventional ultraviolet wavelengths. It is known that 222nm ultraviolet rays have little effect on the human body because they do not penetrate the skin or the inside of the eyes. On May 12, 2021, IUVA (International Ultraviolet Association) announced its position on ultraviolet 222nm (Far UV-C). "There is no evidence that 222nm (Far UV-C) has any adverse effects on the human body (eyes or skin), including consideration of skin cancer."
