About This Product

State-of-the-art stopped-flow system. The stopped-flow method is a method in which a sample solution is mixed at high speed, the flow is stopped instantaneously, and subsequent changes in the absorption spectrum, fluorescence, etc. of the sample solution in the visible, ultraviolet, and near-infrared regions are rapidly measured. It is possible to measure the reaction rate of various high-speed reactions on the order of milliseconds to seconds, such as homogeneous catalytic reactions, enzymatic reactions, redox reactions, structure formation, and particle generation, and to detect short-lived intermediates. It is possible to evaluate activity, derive reaction activation energy, analyze reaction mechanism, evaluate reaction inhibitors and promoters, and compare properties of related substances and new materials. Our stopped-flow equipment has a proven track record of more than 35 years, and is increasingly used in cutting-edge basic and development fields such as energy and environment-related, medical and biotechnology, and nanoscience.
