About This Product
This is a sensor that detects pulse and breathing with high precision based on movements on the surface of the human body.
This system uses a non-contact vital signs sensor (Doppler sensor that uses 24GHz microwaves) to achieve zero physical burden on the person being cared for.
■Performance, features, and benefits of non-contact vital sensor
・It is permeable to everything except metal plates, cement, and water, so it can be installed in out-of-the-way locations (such as behind the ceiling). Therefore, it can be used without the subject being aware of it.
・It is very good at capturing moving objects, but it can sense pulse and breathing even if the body is stationary from 10cm to about 2.5m.
・Although 24GHz microwaves are applied, microwaves of 10GHz or higher are reflected from the body surface and do not enter the body.
・Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications documents have proven that microwaves of 20mW or less are harmless to the body, but this sensor has an output of 3mW or less.
- Sensing movement directly on the body surface through futons and clothing.
- Not affected by ambient light or temperature.
