About This Product

■Product introduction/Consumables/Uzumaki gasket

Autoclaves for research and development applications such as hydrothermal synthesis, zeolite synthesis, nanomaterials, biomass, subcritical water, supercriticality, functional materials, polymerization reactions, gas reduction, hydrogenation reactions, gasification treatments, electrochemistry, and corrosion tests. ■Product overview

Uzumaki gasket is a semi-metallic gasket made of non-metallic filler and metallic filler. Therefore, it can seal with lower torque than metal gaskets. It has excellent sealing performance, and even those who are not skilled in the work can achieve sufficient sealing performance by tightening the bolts diagonally, being careful not to tighten them unevenly. You can seal more securely by using a torque wrench. It remains unaffected even in high-temperature and high-pressure environments and maintains good sealing performance even under sudden fluctuations.

■Features

・Semi-metal gasket that combines non-metallic and metallic materials ・The filler material is selected from PTFE, which has excellent corrosion resistance, and expanded graphite, which can be used in high temperature and high pressure environments. - Metal hoop material can be specified according to the fluid (specification required, standard is SUS316) ・Easy to handle and seal with low torque compared to metal gaskets

■Notes on selection

・There are differences in economic efficiency and corrosion resistance depending on the hoop metal material, so please select the appropriate material. ・Depending on the filler material, the temperature/pressure resistance and chemical resistance vary, so please refer to the table below when making your selection. - Due to the design structure, the flange tends to be thicker, which tends to increase the weight of the device.
