About This Product

■Product introduction/Consumables/RV exclusive gasket

Autoclaves for research and development applications such as hydrothermal synthesis, zeolite synthesis, nanomaterials, biomass, subcritical water, supercriticality, functional materials, polymerization reactions, gas reduction, hydrogenation reactions, gasification treatments, electrochemistry, and corrosion tests. ■Product overview

This is a chevron-shaped gasket that is press-molded by cutting the base material from a plate material with the appropriate thickness and surface finish for the gasket. Set it on the gasket pedestal and use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts between the flange and cover plate.

■Features

・Material equivalent to pressure vessels ・Metallic material that can be used at high temperatures and is suitable for highly airtight seals. ・The chevron shape allows repeated use even though it is a metal material (*depending on the fluid: several to dozens of times) - Improves tightening workability if soft materials (nickel, copper, aluminum, Monel® equivalent) can be used ・By using the electric impact torque wrench (sold separately), you can save labor when opening and closing bolts. ・Cost benefits by using up material lots

■Notes on selection

- There are differences in economic efficiency, corrosion resistance, and labor saving depending on the material, so it is necessary to select the appropriate material. - Difficult to blend in compared to resin, so we recommend tightening bolts by controlling torque and being careful not to tighten unevenly.
