In the case of natural cooling, it may take 2 to 3 hours for the flanges and bolts of the pressure vessel to cool down to a safe working temperature, but by using an autoclave (pressure vessel) with a cooling mechanism, it can be done in about 30 to 45 minutes. This makes it possible to open bolts, which can be expected to shorten testing time and increase the number of batch processes. For maximum efficiency, we recommend using both water and air cooling mechanisms. (Cooling efficiency can also be improved by using a water cooling mechanism and an industrial fan in combination.) External jacket specifications/WJK ■Product overview This is a cooling mechanism in which a removable water cooling jacket is attached to the outside of the reactor, and water is forced to cool down inside the external jacket. Since it is a non-contact type that does not come into direct contact with the fluid, there is no fluid adhesion unlike the internal coil method, and there are no problems with operating temperatures due to the fluororesin coating. Heating is performed using a water-resistant sheathed heater. The cost may be high as additional containers are added. The water line emits steam at high temperatures, so a drain port is required to allow it to drain safely. By building a control system that involves solenoid valves, it is also possible to automatically cool down after the program end/soak end. ■Features ・Removable water cooling jacket outside the reactor ・Because it is an external type, there is no contact with the fluid and there is no adhesion of fluid. ・If the reactor is not coated with fluororesin, there is no problem with operating temperature. ・Because it is an external method, it does not take up space inside the reactor.
