About This Product

Slide Express 2, developed by Merzhäuser, is a system that automatically transports slides stored in a hangar to the viewing position of an optical microscope for observation. When combined with the high-precision scanning stage SCANplus, this system achieves extremely high-precision position monitoring. This is a revolutionary automatic slide transport system that achieves high throughput by automatically transporting and observing up to 120 glass slides.

■High sample storage capacity

The Slide Express 2's hangar stores three magazines that can hold 20 clips that can secure two slides, and can automatically transport up to 120 slides (76 x 26 x 1 mm).

■High process reproducibility

The slide transport between the magazine and the scanning stage is carried out in one transport using an innovative clip concept. This concept avoids loss or damage to valuable samples. To ensure reliable and safe sample handling, all drive axes are monitored by an integrated measurement system. Every sample that researchers work with is unique. Slide Express 2 offers a protection system that ensures your precious samples are always protected. The anti-vibration magazine with special locking mechanism is specifically designed to ensure safe movement of the slide. Magazines are stored inside the base unit. The compact case protects your precious samples from contamination and damage.

■Maintenance and high throughput

Designed to require as little maintenance as possible, saving you effort and time. It is also designed for laboratory use, allowing for quick and easy system integration. We provide a high-throughput experiment and testing environment.

■Accessories

Options include a barcode scanner and automatic liquid replenishment during immersion/oil immersion observation.
