About This Product

The chip accumulation prevention jig is a jig that comes with functional parts to prevent the accumulation of chips. In order to cope with the environment inside the processing machine, each functional part uses CFRP additive manufacturing products that have high strength, heat resistance, and coolant resistance. Furthermore, the free-form design makes it possible to suppress the accumulation of chips by using a high-ejection nozzle that matches existing jigs and a cover that does not obstruct ejection. Just by attaching it to existing jigs, it prevents chips from accumulating and realizes "improved production efficiency." Development concept/product concept

■Current situation and issues

Chip evacuation on jigs has many problems. In particular, chips are likely to accumulate in areas where coolant is difficult to hit or in corners of jigs where coolant does not flow easily, leading to machining defects and equipment stoppages, and countermeasures were required.

■Development points

・The "Chip Accumulation Prevention Jig" prevents the accumulation of chips by using the high discharge nozzle attached to the jig and the cover that does not interfere with discharge. ・The CFRP additive manufacturing product used for the nozzle and cover can be made into complex shapes with a high degree of freedom, and has both heat resistance and coolant resistance, and can be used in the environment inside a processing machine. - Contributes to improved productivity by preventing problems caused by chip accumulation without changing existing jigs.
