About This Product

A small water level observation buoy is a water level gauge for measuring the water level of natural dams that can be transported and installed by drones and helicopters. This device consists of a buoy section equipped with a satellite or mobile communication device, an anchor for mooring the buoy, and a cage section equipped with a pressure sensor with underwater communication function. In addition to measuring water pressure with a pressure sensor, observation data (time, position, water pressure (converted to water level), air pressure, power supply voltage data) from the buoy floating on the surface of the water is sent to the user's computer in email format at set intervals using the Iridium satellite or 3G mobile communication, and the water level is displayed by the receiving software. ･Promptness Even if the access road to the river channel blockage is cut off by an earthquake, etc., it can be transported by drone and installed from the air, so water level observation can be started quickly. ･Safety Workers do not need to work on the ground, so secondary disasters can be prevented. ･Stability Since it can be installed in the center of the flooded part of the river channel blockage, there is little danger of damage or loss of equipment due to sediment inflow from the river bank.
