About This Product
The UV-Box combines two UV tubes for 254/366 nm into one unit, allowing you to examine thin-layer chromatograms in a regular room. Visible light compounds are suppressed by the selected filter. The viewing window is made of polyacrylate glass and provides adequate protection from reflected short wavelength UV radiation. If necessary, you can do some preparatory work and cut the samples under UV light.
For safety reasons, the UV is automatically turned off without delay when opening the door. There is also a spare switch in case you want to cut samples under UV light.
