About This Product
This is a set of comparators that detects distance using a high-precision ultrasonic sensor, makes judgments under 8 types of range conditions, and outputs the results as ON/OFF. With simple wiring and settings, it can be used to detect and control workpiece height, liquid level, etc. without using a sequencer.
Equipped with a USB port, you can set up configuration data by connecting to a computer. The dedicated tool MuWiC Software is used for configuration.
Features
■No contact
Since there is no contact with the object to be detected, it is less affected by viscosity and there are no hygiene concerns.
■Waterproof/dustproof
The sensor part is IP67 compliant. Can be used in environments exposed to water or dust.
■Cannot select detection target
Its feature is that it can detect a wide range of objects, including metals, liquids, and glass.
■Detection distance can be changed
Using the sensor's teach-in button, you can set the detection distance in the range of 100 to 1000mm and perform reverse detection.
■8 points output
By being able to use 8 output points (open collector), the range of processing according to detection and judgment results, such as control and alarm, is expanded.
■Judgment ranges can overlap
Any channels can be overlapped, allowing flexible judgment conditions to be set.
■24V single power input
There is no need to prepare a separate power supply for the sensor.
■Set judgment conditions in range
The controller section has 8 channels, and the output ON conditions can be set individually for each channel within a range.
■With enable input
A switch can be used to enable or disable acceptance of external enable signals. Comparator operation can be executed or disabled using an external enable signal.
