About This Product

A thermal fluid simulation tool for calculating transient characteristics of fluids such as various positive displacement pumps and compressors, reducers, turbomachinery, motors and valves.

■By using Simerics MP+, the following thermal fluid simulations are possible.

・Free surface flow ・Flow considering the compressibility of air contained in liquid ・Pressure pulsation, water hammer effect ・Coupling of pump flow and rigid body motion of valves and cam rings ・Flow in low-medium vacuum state ・Compressible flow (subsonic) ・Cavitation ・Time changes in flow field (velocity vector, pressure), flow rate, fluid force, and torque ・Multiple gas types, mixed gas flow

■Features

・Cooling of electric motors: Cooling analysis of electric motors using SimericsMP+ saves cost and time compared to experiments, and allows for detailed analysis, which is useful for designing and improving motors. ・Oil cooling of planetary gears: Use the analysis results when oil absorbs heat as it circulates in the planetary gear mechanism for the thermal design of the mechanism. SimericsMP+ allows you to easily set the motion of complex mechanisms. ・HPC solution: It is possible to perform high-speed calculations using large-scale parallel calculations. Furthermore, we can expect performance to improve linearly by increasing the number of parallels. ・Bayesian optimization: Aims to maximize model performance through repeated analyses. Bayesian optimization requires fewer evaluations, saving time and cost when searching for an optimal solution. ・Pump performance evaluation: Important indicators in pump design and operation can be numerically evaluated. Compatible with a wide variety of shapes and structures, setup is quick and easy. ・Valve analysis: Detailed analysis of the flow inside the valve allows design improvements to improve performance. Like pumps, they come in a wide variety of shapes and structures.
