About This Product

■Product overview Calcium ferrite is produced by melting iron ore and lime in a melting furnace. It is used for dephosphorization during the steel manufacturing process. In recent years, as an environmental measure, it has been discovered that the fluorite used until now has a negative impact on the environment by emitting fluorine. Calcium ferrite is fluorine-free and is now used as a replacement for fluorite. ■Product features The calcium ferrite we handle is a melting type compound with a low melting point, so it melts quickly when added to the furnace. It is a substitute for fluorite and does not contain fluorine, reducing environmental burden. Provides good dephosphorization effect.
