■Main features

The SV405CC cooled camera is equipped with a SONY IMX294 back-illuminated Four Thirds size sensor. Adopts C-MOS with wide dynamic range resulting from high performance sensor with extremely low read noise (1.2e-) and high FullWell capacity (63ke) Furthermore, it has excellent high-speed image transfer performance, and can output 4K images to USB3.0 at 19fps in ADC 14bit mode. Since there are clearly fewer hot pixels in TV viewing, there is no need to perform real-time dark correction every time, which is an overwhelming advantage, especially when doing TV viewing where exposure time and gain are frequently changed.

■Features

The SV405CC astronomical camera uses a back-illuminated IMX294 sensor with high quantum efficiency (peak QE is estimated to be over 75%) to improve sensitivity and reduce noise. Built-in 256MB DDR3 high-speed memory for buffering image data, stable data transmission and no frame loss, effectively reducing the glow effect caused by slow reading speed. On-board HCG mode - When the gain is set above 120, HCG mode is automatically enabled, effectively reducing reading noise without losing dynamic range. TEC semiconductor two-stage cooling system: reduces the temperature difference of the CMOS sensor to 30° from ambient temperature, reduces the generation of dark current, and has very low noise even during long exposures of several hundred seconds. With 14-bit ADC digital-to-analog conversion, it can reach 13-bit dynamic range, which is very suitable for deep space photography. SV405CC works on Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Chrome OS, and RaspberryPi systems by running AstroDMx Capture. For Windows systems, software such as Sharpcap, N.I.N.A., and TheSkyX are also supported to run on the ASCOM platform using ASCOM drivers.
