About This Product
For special electronic circuits, we have developed a precision A/D conversion board with 18-bit accuracy. This board uses Analog Devices' AD7986 and achieves true 18-bit accuracy. Noise is extremely low at approximately 1.3LSB (approximately 40μV), enabling accurate measurements.
The connector for connecting the coaxial cable uses a gold-plated SMA connector. Each channel has a differential configuration. Single-ended use is also possible.
■Noise when there is no signal
The noise when there is no signal is approximately 1.3LSB, which is 42μV when converted to voltage. With an 18-bit ADC, the value never stops, but this 1.3LSB performance is almost the same as the performance of the ADC itself.
■Strain rate
When a state variable oscillator was created and a sine wave of about 20kHz was input, simple measurements showed that a distortion rate of -90dB or less was achieved. Since it is not easy to perform more precise measurements, we are currently considering measurement methods.
