Among these, compared to oil-based inks and cleaning agents used for general printing, UV inks and UV cleaning agents have a stronger effect on rubber rollers due to their unique characteristics, making it difficult to print stably like process inks. Avant UV, newly developed by KATSURA, exhibits characteristics that are even higher than conventional UV rollers.

■Main features①Improvement of ink transferability
Avant UV has no white spots and exhibits good ink transfer properties, so even in offset printing, you can get a solid block without any gaps, resulting in high-quality printed matter.

②Hydrolysis resistance
In hydrolysis tests, Avant UV shows good hydrolysis resistance with little change in hardness. It is resistant to softening and deterioration, and there is no damage due to roller surface deterioration, and it continues to maintain stable printing performance even after long-term use.

③UV ink resistance
In the UV ink immersion test, it showed good ink resistance with little weight change, and the roller diameter change was small. It maintains a stable nip for a long period of time, reducing maintenance work.
