About This Product

A thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) is a method of measuring dimensional changes in solids, liquids, paste materials, etc. as a function of temperature or time under a given load while the temperature is varied or held according to a fixed program. In addition to thermal expansion (linear expansion coefficient, average linear expansion coefficient), phase transition temperature, sintering temperature, softening point, etc. can be measured. The TMA consists of a heating furnace, a detection rod (probe), and a displacement detector (differential transformer).While applying a load through the detection rod, it measures the dimensional change caused by changing the sample temperature in the heating furnace.
