The AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha is an orthogonally accelerated time-of-flight mass spectrometer (OA-TOFMS) equipped with a two-stage field gradient reflectron. It has an ideal ion optical system that combines high ion transmittance (=sensitivity) and ultra-high resolution.
AccuTOF™ GC-Alpha has newly developed the following hardware to achieve ultra-high resolution.
・Larger t: Increase flight distance to 4m
・Smaller Δt: New ion optical system using two-stage reflected electric field
・Smaller Δt: Ion transport system compatible with ions with a wide range of energies
The newly developed hardware has achieved 6 times higher resolution than the first generation AccuTOF™ GC, and has significantly improved mass accuracy.
