About This Product

A completely new type of Raman for observing wide fields of view. Raman imaging can be performed over a maximum area of ​​2.5cm square. Equipped with an optical system optimized for wide-field objective lenses used in stereomicroscopes. The wide-field Raman scope RAMANview has greatly expanded the range of applications for Raman imaging.

■Unique performance

"Ultra wide field of view," "deep depth of focus," "high spatial resolution," and "ultra long working distance" are the four values ​​hidden in the compact housing that enable a wide variety of Raman spectroscopy analyses.

■View a centimeter wide field of view using Raman spectroscopy.

Equipped with an optical system optimized for the objective lens of a stereomicroscope, RAMANview has an extremely wide observation field of view. Even for large samples of 1 cm or more, the entire image can be carefully observed and the measurement area selected. Instead of time-consuming imaging using a motorized stage, we use ultra-high-speed laser beam scanning to perfectly balance large-area observation and high-speed performance.

■Deep depth of focus eliminates the need for focusing.

The depth of focus of RAMANview is approximately 1.8mm (when using a 0.5x objective lens). Even if there is a height difference of 1 mm or 2 mm on the sample surface, you can perform Raman imaging without worrying about focusing. This deep depth of focus is also useful for bulk measurements. Bulk spectra can be obtained without variations depending on the measurement location or the effects of thin layers such as plastic bags.

■High spatial resolution approaching the level of Raman microscopy.

High magnification lenses are effective in analysis scenes that require high spatial resolution. The data on the right is from imaging a 1 micron diameter diamond bead using a 2x objective. The peak intensity profile along the dotted line shows that a spatial resolution of 2.5 microns is achieved. Imaging fine particles in a localized area and detecting substances with a low content of a few percent can be easily measured with RAMANview.

■Ultra-long working distance that expands measurement scenarios.

The working distance of RAMANview is approximately 7cm (when using a 0.5x objective lens). The laser beam can even reach samples at the bottom of deep containers, further expanding the range of applications for Raman spectroscopy measurements. There is ample distance between the lens and the measurement surface, so there is no need to worry about the sample colliding with the objective lens. It can also be used to measure through window materials and the contents of containers.
