■Summary
The STR-Y6700 series is a power IC for quasi-resonant switching power supplies that includes a power MOSFET and a quasi-resonant control IC in one package. To support low standby power, it has a built-in auto standby function that automatically switches to quasi-resonant operation during normal operation, one-bottom skip operation during medium to light loads, and burst operation during light loads. The extensive protection functions make it easy to configure a cost-effective power system with fewer components.
