Using a new antifouling agent, we have achieved long-term antifouling effects. Due to its self-polishing action, the surface roughness of the paint film decreases over time, contributing to reduced fuel consumption. Effective in preventing marine organisms (especially barnacles) from adhering to the product.
Since it does not use cuprous oxide, the color is vivid and can be applied to aluminum ships. The synergistic effect of organic antifouling agent and cuprous oxide makes it an ideal antifouling paint that makes it difficult for seaweed and shellfish to adhere to it. We do not recommend painting aluminum boats. Tin-free self-polishing bottom antifouling paint for FRP ships. Cannot be used on aluminum boats. Because the coating film is hydrophilic, it exhibits self-polishing properties in seawater, making the coating surface smooth.
Since cuprous oxide, which has been widely used in the past, is used as an antifouling agent, it does not contain organic tin compounds. The polishing action of the paint film effectively dissolves cuprous oxide and provides long-term antifouling effects. The abrasive action of the coating suppresses the increase in resistance.
