About This Product
Available in electromechanical systems with unlimited continuous rotation, slip rings have the ability to transfer power and data from stationary to rotating objects. Also called rotary electrical interface, collector, swivel, and rotary joint.
The AC6200 slip ring's 38.1 mm internal diameter hollow section can be used to route hydraulic and pneumatic equipment or to mount this slip ring on a concentric shaft.
Additionally, the AC6200 slip ring features Moog's proprietary fiber brushes, which offer several advantages over traditional slip ring contacts. Advantages of this fiber brush include multi-contact brush bundles and reduced contact wear rate, but the advantage is that it does not require lubrication, generates almost no wear debris, and is maintenance-free for a long period of time.
