About This Product
Available in electromechanical systems with unlimited continuous rotation, slip rings have the ability to transfer power and data from stationary to rotating objects. Also called rotary electrical interface, collector, swivel, and rotary joint.
The AC4598 slip ring's 38.1 mm internal diameter hollow section can be used to route hydraulic and pneumatic equipment or to mount this slip ring on a concentric shaft.
Additionally, the AC4598 slip ring utilizes Moog's proprietary fiber brushes, which offer several advantages over traditional slip ring contacts. The advantages of this fiber brush include multi-contact brush bundles, reduced electrical noise, and reduced contact wear rate, but it also has the advantage of not requiring lubrication and producing almost no wear debris.

・Through hole inner diameter 38.1mm
・Maximum continuous rotation speed 250rpm
・Number of circuits: 6, 12, 18, or 24 (10A circuit)
・The lead wire has a thickness of 16 gauge and a length of 304.8 mm (long lead wires are also available)
・It is possible to increase the rotation speed by replacing the bearing (optional)
・A wide variety of lead wire patterns including axial and radial directions
・Dust-proof and moisture-proof measures with splash-proof seals
・Use a collar when attaching to the shaft (flange attachment option also available)
・Ring configurations with 12, 24, 36, and 48 2A circuits and combination configurations of power circuits and signal circuits are also available.
