About This Product

■Solar radiation measured with film

Optleaf is a film for measuring cumulative solar radiation and cumulative photon amount. The degree to which the dye in the film fades due to sunlight is determined, and the fading rate is converted into the cumulative amount of solar radiation or cumulative amount of photon using a calibration curve. This makes it possible to measure in locations that were difficult to measure using conventional pyranometers, and to measure at multiple points simultaneously.
