・Capacitive sensor with low soil invasiveness ・Measurement volume φ100mm x H150mm and φ80mm x H110mm ・RS485, SDI-12, analog voltage output ・High environmental resistance due to resin sealed housing ・Measure soil volumetric moisture content with 2 electrodes (HD3910.1, measurement volume φ100mm x H150mm) or 3 electrodes (HD3910.2, measurement volume φ80mm x H110mm) ・Measure soil temperature - Multiple output options available (depending on model): RS485 (digital, Modbus-RTU protocol), SDI-12 (digital), analog voltage ・Long-term accurate and stable measurement ・Protection grade IP67 ・Extremely low soil invasiveness ・Easy installation ・For agricultural, hydrological and geological applications Probes HD3910.1 (2 electrodes) and HD3910.2 (3 electrodes) measure soil volumetric water content (VWC). The capacitive measuring principle allows fast and minimally invasive measurements in agricultural fields. The 3-electrode probe HD3910.2 is particularly suitable for measurements in small measuring volumes (e.g. potted plants). The probe is factory calibrated and requires no additional calibration by the end user. The circuit board is protected by a plastic housing and sealed with epoxy resin. This allows highly reliable measurements even under harsh environmental conditions. The RS485 Modbus-RTU output and SDI-12 output version can be connected to Senseca and other data loggers with respective digital inputs. The analog output version has two voltage outputs of 0.5-3V, 0-2.5V, 0-5V or 0-10V (volume moisture content and temperature).
