About This Product

■Summary ・High-precision measurement using piezoresistive sensor with built-in temperature sensor for correction ・Atmospheric pressure, temperature, and humidity can be measured using a temperature/humidity probe (optional) ・Modbus-RTU output standard on all models, voltage/current analog output optional ・Digital output enables long-distance data transmission and networking The PBS83M series is an atmospheric pressure transmitter that uses a piezoresistive sensor with a built-in temperature sensor for correction. Barometric pressure and corrected temperature measurements are digitally processed to provide highly accurate barometric pressure outputs over the transmitter's operating temperature range. The atmospheric pressure transmitter is factory calibrated at multiple points and has excellent aging stability and repeatability. The PBS83M series comes standard with RS485 digital output for Modbus-RTU or proprietary protocols. In addition to this, the following analog outputs can be selected as options: ・Current 0/4~20mA output ・Voltage 0-1V, 0-5V or 0-10V output The digital output of the transmitter allows long-distance transmission of measured values ​​and the connection of the transmitter to a sensor network. Measured atmospheric pressure values ​​are expressed in different user-selectable units of measurement. Models with an optional digital display allow immediate direct reading of measured values. A temperature/humidity composite probe can be selected as an option. This calculates dew point, absolute humidity, and wet bulb temperature. An optional static port with support bracket is available for outdoor measurements. This static port reduces measurement errors due to wind currents on the atmospheric pressure input port, making outdoor measurements extremely accurate and reliable.
