The HD9008.T7AC and HD9008.T7S are microprocessor-controlled temperature transmitters. Although it has a compact cylindrical size (φ26 x 225 mm), it has a built-in amplifier and converter, and the HD9008.T7AC outputs a DC4 to 20mA instrumentation signal, and the HD9008.T7S outputs measured temperature values using RS485 Modbus-RTU.
HD9008.T7AC allows scaling of temperature range for output. HD9008.03 directly outputs the resistance value of platinum resistance thermometer Pt100. Along with the pyranometer made by Senseca (formerly Delta Ohm), it already has a great track record as a thermometer in solar power generation systems.
When using either transmitter outdoors, insert it into a protection hood HD9007A-1 (12 layers) or HD9007A-2 (16 layers) that protects the transmitter from sunlight, wind and rain.
Probe holders HD9008.21.1 (bulkhead distance 250mm) and HD9008.21.2 (bulkhead distance 125mm) are available for indoor installation.
■Protection hood HD9007A-1/A-2
The HD9007A-1 and HD9007A-2 are ideal hoods to protect temperature and humidity sensors from sunlight (ultraviolet light), wind and rain when the transmitter is used outdoors, such as at a weather station.
