About This Product
The sense air duct type CO2 transmitter eSENSE and aSENSE series are transmitters designed for duct installation. It is easy to install the included stem for gas intake into the duct, and like the indoor type, it is a lightweight, compact, maintenance-free, and low-cost general-purpose CO2 transmitter.
aSENSE Duct is a maintenance-free, NDIR CO₂ concentration transmitter for installation in ventilation ducts. Equipped with a duct probe as standard, the housing is designed for industrial facilities (protection class IP65).
The aSENSE Duct is designed to control ventilation by transmitting measured CO₂ and temperature values to the system's main device or DDC (Direct Digital Control), providing flexibility for different control methods for ventilation. .
Most building standards require a fresh air flow of at least 7 liters per person per second in rooms where people remain for relatively long periods of time. If an adult is doing light work and the outdoor CO₂ concentration is 350 ppm, at this air flow rate the indoor CO₂ concentration will be 1040 ppm. Under the Building Environmental Sanitation Management Standards, CO₂ concentration is used as an indicator of indoor air quality (IAQ), and the target value is less than 1000 ppm.
