The most distinctive feature of Twin Carbo is its hollow structure, and the air layer creates a high insulation effect, making it approximately twice as effective as a glass plate of the same thickness. It is also about 1/10th the weight of a glass plate of the same thickness, and about 1/5th the weight of the polycarbonate plate ``Carboglass'' introduced above, and is coated with a weather-resistant coating as standard.
