About This Product
Floating connectors have the ability to absorb misalignment that occurs when installing boards. It is especially used in terminals where multiple boards can be attached. It has actually been implemented in automotive infotainment systems and industrial PLCs.
■The floating connector developed by Greenconn has two features.
- To absorb misalignment.
- After mating, the mechanical design provides two contact points for the terminals, which absorbs the mounting misalignment of the connector, which is susceptible to vibration.
It absorbs board mounting tolerances, allows multiple units to be mounted on the same board, and reduces stress on the connector soldering area.
