■Further energy savings with future motors using permanent magnets.

This is a next-generation motor that combines energy-saving performance and high torque. Permanent magnets are used in the rotor. This reduces the loss generated in the rotor by 40% compared to conventional TMEIC products. By being used to power medium- to large-capacity equipment such as fans and pumps, it produces amazing energy efficiency and unprecedented energy-saving effects. This is a next-generation permanent magnet motor that achieves excellent energy-saving performance and high torque characteristics with a small number of permanent magnets.

■Advanced motor technology PRM

TMEIC has developed a new motor PRM that combines a permanent magnet motor and a reluctance motor. Permanent magnet motors use permanent magnets in the rotor to generate torque. On the other hand, a reluctance motor is a motor that uses the magnetic attraction generated by the saliency of the rotor without using permanent magnets. The PRM developed by TMEIC combines two motors and uses reluctance torque to minimize the amount of permanent magnets used while designing an optimal rotor that provides high torque and high efficiency performance. . As a result, we developed a hybrid rotor in which the torque ratio generated by the motor is 50% permanent magnet torque and 50% reluctance torque.

■New motor technology PRM

Conventional permanent magnet motors utilize the torque generated by permanent magnets, so in order to obtain high torque, a large amount of permanent magnets are used. PRM developed by TMEIC is a technology that uses reluctance torque to reduce the amount of permanent magnets used. Compared to conventional permanent magnet motors, we were able to significantly reduce the amount of permanent magnets used by approximately 40%. PRM is a new motor technology that minimizes motor costs and benefits the resource environment.

■Realization equivalent to IE4 super premium efficiency

TMEIC has applied PRM technology to create a series of permanent magnet motors, TM21-FP, which achieves IE4 super premium efficiency, which is the highest efficiency class. Since the TM21-FP series uses permanent magnets in the rotor, there is no loss generated in the rotor, achieving a loss reduction of approximately 40% compared to a standard induction machine (IM). The TM21-FP series achieves excellent energy-saving effects with high motor efficiency as power for industrial equipment such as fans and pumps.
