About This Product

Circuit protection elements are used in the secondary circuits of various electronic devices to protect them from overcurrent and overvoltage (static electricity). Our products are chip types that meet the needs of surface mounting, making them ideal for downsizing equipment. With the proliferation of portable electronic devices, the use of high-capacity batteries is increasing. Microfuse KAB type was developed for the purpose of circuit protection against overcurrents in portable electronic devices, batteries, etc. In addition to further miniaturization and thinning, the rating range has been expanded to support a wide range of applications. Although the characteristics are the same, two types of dimensions are available, expanding the range of selection. Additionally, it is completely lead-free, making it an environmentally friendly design.

■Features

・We have developed a new type of fuse using our unique manufacturing method, which has uniform blowing characteristics and excellent fast blowing performance. ・The surface temperature rise when the rated current is applied is 75℃ or less, making it a fuse that has little effect on the surrounding area. - Two types of ultra-small 1608 (1.6 x 0.8 x 0.45mm) and 2012 (2.0 x 1.25 x 0.5mm) are available. - Ideal for automatic mounting with a chip placer. - "Self-alignment" is possible with dimensional accuracy and symmetrical electrode structure suitable for high-density mounting. ・Soldering heat resistance satisfies 260℃ for 10 seconds and is compatible with both reflow and dipping. ・The tape carrier uses a press pocket mount to ensure high accuracy. ・Completely lead-free product.
