About This Product

■What is a die set?

A die set is a tool used to attach a mold for plastic working to a press, and is used to maintain the correct positional relationship between the upper and lower dies. It consists of a forming section that forms the product by contacting the material, a mounting section that mounts it on the press machine, and a pressure receiving section that relieves the pressure acting on the forming section and transmits it to the press machine body. Each individual part is designed and manufactured to be as simple as possible.

■Spring type closure die set

This is Yamanaka Gokin's unique spring-type closure die set that uses a special spring.

■Features

・Since there is no need to place a cylinder directly under the die, it can be installed on presses with low shut height. ・Since it uses a spring, it follows the press speed well and enables high-speed closed forging. ・Because the slide and mold holder are mechanically separated, press accuracy is less likely to directly affect forged product accuracy. ・The blockage load is small at the beginning and increases linearly toward the bottom dead center, reducing the burden on the press. ・Easy maintenance due to simple structure
