■Features 01 Design ability to realize compactness and space saving

We custom-manufacture transformers and reactors that match usage conditions and product specifications, such as miniaturization and special shapes that match the structure of the product in which the transformer or reactor is incorporated. The more compact a transformer/reactor is, the more factors to consider, such as heat generation and noise, and the more difficult it becomes to design. At our company, we are able to manufacture highly demanding transformers and reactors by considering the location and layout of components that ensure the protection circuit operates, and by conducting repeated analog verifications.

■Feature 02 A track record of challenging transformers that are highly difficult to realize

We have continued to take on the challenge of meeting our customers' requests for transformers with high specification specifications that are difficult to realize and difficult to design, and which have been rejected by many other manufacturers. For example, we have created smaller and space-saving transformers that meet the required specifications, complex transformers with many internal wirings, and transformers that use rare windings instead of general-purpose bobbins. We will take on the challenge of creating transformers that have been rejected by other companies and will make them a reality, so please feel free to contact us.

■Customer problems/issues

When developing a switching power supply, we want to suppress the inductance difference of the flyback transformer. We would like to conduct an actual evaluation of the transformer, which is a key device, as soon as possible.

■Problem solving method/customization content

Normally, inductance is adjusted using processed products or space materials produced by ferrite core manufacturers, but this poses problems in terms of delivery time and accuracy. Our company, which owns grinding equipment, was able to overcome this challenge and provide a prototype product within a short lead time. This transformer can accommodate anything from EPC17 to large cores.
