About This Product
CCFL has achieved gentle light and energy savings. For those who want to know more about CCFL, which is easy on the eyes, the earth, and the wallet.
■CCFL concept
It has been used in various places until now. From now on, CCFL has been reborn as a lighting source that contributes to energy conservation with gentle light.
■Overview of CCFL and difference from conventional fluorescent lamps (HCFL)
CCFL is an abbreviation for cold cathode fluorescent lamp (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp), and unlike the conventional fluorescent lamp (HCFL - Hot Cathode Fluorescent Lamp), it emits thermoelectrons without heating with a filament. This is a type of fluorescent light that emits light. The glass tube and phosphor are exactly the same as before, but the discharge method is different, so electrons are emitted without heating the electrodes. This allows the tube to be thinner, cooler, and have a longer lifespan.
How to effectively use CCFL
■Thorough power saving with dimming function
Parking lots, hallways, warehouses, etc.
■Used because it is a gentle light
Hospitals, nursing care facilities, schools, libraries, etc.
■Long life and less replacement
Signboards, high-place lighting, etc.
■Low heat generation and strong heat resistance
Server room, signboard, vegetable factory, etc.
■Unchanged safety
Renewal of old lighting, etc.
CCFL is easy on the eyes
■Even light distribution (spread of light)
LEDs are highly directional and generally emit light in a straight line, but the CCFL light source diffuses light over a wide area, allowing it to emit even and uniform light. (*The light distribution angle of the straight tube lamp is 180 degrees.)
■Color rendering properties close to natural (Ra color appearance)
If sunlight is Ra100, LEDs generally emit harsh light with a value of less than Ra80, while CCFLs emit gentle light with Ra82 to 86, which is closer to natural light and less irritating.
■What is the blue light problem?
Blue light is blue light with a wavelength of 380 to 495 nm (nanometers). Light that can be seen by the human eye is the shortest wavelength of all visible light, has the strongest energy, and reaches the retina without being absorbed by the cornea or crystalline lens. It has the highest energy among visible light, and there are concerns that it may disrupt the body's internal clock and affect the eyes if it reaches the retina.
