About This Product

Irisart is an insert nut product (*) that creates strong screw holes in materials that cannot hold screw holes with the strength of the base material itself. Can be used for various resin materials such as plastic, Duracon, and nylon, and other soft metal materials such as aluminum and die-casting. Since Irisart is formed by cutting, there is no problem with pitch skipping or the ends of the coil popping out, which tend to occur with conventional coil types. Also, since it is tangless, there is no need to remove the tang after insertion. Anyone can easily install it using special tools. Irisart is a registered trademark of Hirosugi Seiki Co., Ltd. (*) Insert nuts are a general term for parts that are inserted into screw holes in soft materials such as resins and light metals to reinforce female threads and bolts.
