A self-tapping screw made of iron with a cutting edge (drill) at the tip. Trivalent chromate treatment has been applied. Drilling a pilot hole + forming a screw + fastening can be done all at once, contributing to labor savings. The unique cutting edge provides stable cutting performance with no variations even under low loads. The thread pitch is the same as the two types of self-tapping screws. In terms of workability, cost, and reliability, it is suitable for fastening in construction, architecture, housing, etc. It is an EU-RoHS2 compliant product.
