About This Product

Highly safe regenerative medicine research medium that eliminates the risk of virus infection from human/animal-derived raw materials and albumin

■Features

・Medium specialized for separating and proliferating adipose stem cells from human adipose tissue (please use in conjunction with stem cell isolation substrate) ・Highly safe: Albumin-free (animal-free) can be separated ・Maintenance of differentiation potential ・Performance difference between lots is small ・No need to coat the culture container ・Refrigerated storage ・Made in Japan

■About albumin free

Animal-free refers to a medium that does not contain human or animal-derived materials, and albumin-free refers to an animal-free + recombinant medium that does not contain albumin. If the culture medium contains raw materials derived from humans or animals, there is a risk of virus infection, so this is a highly safe culture medium that eliminates these risks. In addition to human and animal-derived materials, we use an albumin-free medium to minimize the use of plant and microbial-derived materials.

■How to use

・Please add serum (human serum, FBS, etc.) each time you culture. ・Antibiotics (penicillin, streptomycin, amphotericin) have been added. ・Special medium used when separating adipose stem cells using stem cell separation substrate (BMK-R003)

■Cell morphology/proliferative ability

We confirmed the proliferation of hASCs (human adipose-derived stem cells) when human adipose tissue was cultured in BSCM-SP1 adipose stem cell isolation medium (supplemented with 1% human serum) using stem cell isolation substrates. - From day 5 to 6 of culture, the presence of hASCs outgrowing along the fibers of the substrate can be confirmed. Difficult to find when there are few cells ・After 9 to 10 days of culture, it can be clearly seen that hASCs are outgrowing along the substrate. ・After 10 to 14 days of culture, it proliferates throughout the substrate. Collect ASC from the substrate when hASC accounts for about 10-20% of the entire substrate.

■Cell surface markers, differentiation potential

After 6 passages, hASCs and hWJ-MSCs were induced to differentiate into adipocytes, osteoblasts, and chondrocytes, and the results showed that they differentiated into each cell type.
