About This Product

The glycerin pressure gauge OPG series is a glycerin-containing pressure gauge with excellent vibration resistance and durability. It is ideal for use in locations with severe mechanical vibrations where regular pressure gauges would be damaged in a short period of time.

■Features・The standard size OPGΦ60 series is equipped with a safety mark as standard. Color-coded optional coloring can also be installed. (OPGΦ75 & Φ100 series are not compatible with safety marks and coloring)
・The exterior and wetted parts of OPGΦ100 (A, B, D types) are all made of stainless steel.
- The filling liquid is a glycerin liquid that is classified as Class 4, Class 3 petroleum under the Fire Service Act, so it is harmless, odorless, and poses almost no risk of fire.
-The viscous resistance of the glycerin liquid inside the completely sealed pressure gauge cushions the movement of the pointer due to mechanical vibration. It also cushions the movement of the Bourdon tube and absorbs the pulsating pressure of the fluid.
- Glycerin liquid also serves to lubricate worn parts such as bearings and gear parts inside the pressure gauge, improving the durability of the internal mechanism.
・Furthermore, the pressure gauge stock has a built-in ▷ dedicated throttle (damper) for buffering pulsating pressure and surge pressure.
- Safety measures have been taken to ensure that even if the Bourdon tube ruptures, the front glass will not be blown away and the hydraulic oil will drain from the safety cap at the top of the case.
- A green safety mark is attached to the outer circumference of the case, making it easy to set the pressure range (Φ60 only).
・As a selection criterion, select a pressure gauge with the highest scale that is at least twice the pressure range you will be using.
・We issue various certificates related to pressure gauges (traceability system diagram, certificate of acceptance, inspection report, calibration certificate).

Shape description
■A shape (rimless shape)The pipe connection screw protrudes from the bottom of the pressure gauge, and this is the most common shape in which the pressure gauge is held by the threaded part.

■B shape (round edge shape)Based on the A shape, a flange for fixing the panel is added to the back. The flange has a hole and is fixed to the panel with screws (please prepare separately). As with type A, the piping connection screws come out from the bottom of the pressure gauge, so connect the piping on the front side of the panel.

■D type (embedded type)Embed it in the panel and secure it with the included fixing hardware. Connect the piping connection screws on the back side of the panel.
