A new generation switchgear that combines the compactness and reliability of GIS and the ease of use of AIS with Hitachi's vacuum technology.
■Achieves high reliability and long-term stable operation
- By adopting Hitachi's unique hybrid electromagnetic operation mechanism, the number of parts has been reduced, and by using solid lubrication for all sliding parts, greaseless operation has been achieved, improving reliability and safety.
・Maintenance has been improved by reducing the number of parts and eliminating the need for grease, achieving stable operation over a long period of time.
■Secures both circuit breaker and disconnector performance with one vacuum switch
・Hitachi's unique two-point, three-position vacuum switch has the performance of both a circuit breaker and a disconnector, and can be used to suit the application.
・The double insulation structure of vacuum and epoxy mold prevents ground faults even in the unlikely event of a vacuum leak.
- For sealing the vacuum switch, we have applied vacuum brazing technology, which has been proven for many years in vacuum circuit breakers, to ensure the reliability of the sealing part.
■Small size
By applying vacuum insulation, which has insulation performance more than three times that of SF6 gas at 1 atm, we have achieved a smaller switchgear.
■Safety
- Phase-separated structure prevents short-circuit accidents between phases.
・Even if an arc accident occurs in the vacuum container, there will be no dangerous gas pressure increase and no pressure relief device is required.
・The double insulation structure of vacuum and epoxy mold prevents ground faults even in the unlikely event of a vacuum leak (as stated in the adoption section of the two-point, three-position vacuum switch).
・Vacuum grounding switch ensures short-circuit closing performance in case of erroneous operation.
・Vacuum leaks can be monitored.
■Easy maintenance
- Gas-free design eliminates the need for maintenance such as gaskets and moisture absorbers.
・Since SF6 gas is not used, there is no need to worry about emitting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
■Environmental friendliness
- Molded vacuum switches are less susceptible to condensation, salt damage, and corrosive gases, ensuring long-term reliability.
- The vacuum container and the rotating shaft of the operating mechanism are made of stainless steel to improve environmental resistance.
