About This Product

■Summary

When rotating in the forward direction, the thread is raised, and when rotating in the reverse direction, the inner diameter seam is removed and finished. Even if there are variations in the pilot hole dimensions, the inner diameter will be finished at a constant diameter. The side end mill blade trims the inner diameter when reversing.

■Zero contamination, zero diagonal tightening, and the highest quality

- Significantly reduces contamination (mixture of foreign objects) that occurs during processing of important automobile parts. - Eliminates the diagonal tightening problem that occurs with general rolling taps during the assembly process. ・Eliminates whiskers and burrs on female threads. It also solves the problem of residual liquid during plating processing. ・Since it is possible to finish the internal thread diameter to a constant level, it is extremely effective in eliminating internal diameter defects due to bent pilot holes. (Standard lineup includes over 600 types, with internal lubrication compatible models also added) - Normally, female threads processed with a rolling tap have a seam at the top, which increases the risk of burrs and diagonal tightening. By cutting off the crest with the side blade of the seamless tufflet, the seam becomes narrower and these risks are reduced.

■About the pilot hole diameter

If you want to keep the internal diameter of the female thread constant, select a pilot hole diameter that has a snag rate of 90% or more in the pilot hole diameter table. (Some seams may remain.) If you want to remove the seam on the inner diameter of the female thread, select a pilot hole diameter that has a snagging rate of 95% or more.
