About This Product

Micomkit.com's "PIC-P18-LCD2 Experimentable and embeddable 18-pin PIC microcomputer development board kit with backlight liquid crystal, LED, general-purpose switch, and RS232C" is a 16-character, 2-line backboard that is often used when developing microcontrollers. This is a development board kit for an 18-pin PIC microcontroller that comes standard with a liquid crystal display (LCD) with light, a serial communication interface (RS232C), and a PIC microcontroller IC.

A backlit LCD panel is included, allowing you to quickly perform experiments and development that require a display. Furthermore, a PIC microcomputer IC with a sample program written in it is installed, so you can use it immediately after assembly (a program is written to calculate, display, and serially output prime numbers from 2 to 65000. December 2012 the current) .

In addition, there is a universal board area (perforated board) that can be easily separated, so you can add various circuits or cut it to make it smaller.

■Features- Compatible with many 18-pin PIC microcontroller ICs (see circuit diagram for pin arrangement). Comes with sample program "16F1827".
・Equipped with a 16 character x 2 line backlit liquid crystal display (LCD)
・Equipped with serial interface (RS232C)
・Comes with a detachable universal board (approximately 100x45mm)
・With a selector switch that can be programmed with the LCD installed
 (Due to the load on the LCD, it will not work without a selector switch)
・Switchable between 5V and 3.3V as internal power supply circuit
・Includes PIC microcontroller IC "16F1827" with sample program
・Equipped with general-purpose switch and LED

Note: Although it is a general-purpose development board, the positive power supply (VDD) is fixed at pin 14 and the ground (VSS) is fixed at pin 5, so all 18-pin PICs (16F, 18F, 24H, dsP, etc.) can be used. Not. Please check the posted product manual to see if the PIC you want can be used.
