About This Product

An oil particle counter is a device that measures contamination, which is particles in hydraulic oil. It is said that approximately 70% of failures in hydraulic systems are due to contamination of hydraulic fluid. Appropriately managing the cleanliness of hydraulic oil (lubricating oil) can extend the life of the machine and reduce total costs. There are three types: portable LPA3, built-in ICM, and installed ACMU, as well as oil sampling kits BS110 and BS500.

■LPA3 portable type

LPA3 is a portable oil particle counter that weighs only 10kg, making it easy to carry. It only takes 1 minute to measure 100ml, and the operation is intuitive, allowing for speedy measurement. If it is difficult to take a sample of hydraulic oil directly from the hydraulic system, it can be measured by using it in conjunction with an oil bottle sampling kit.

■ICM device built-in type

The ICM is a built-in contamination monitor that can be installed in a pressurized hydraulic circuit, and can display the cleanliness, water content, and oil temperature of hydraulic fluid in real time. By incorporating it into equipment, vehicles, and hydraulic testing equipment, you can prevent major troubles caused by hydraulic fluid contamination and reduce machine downtime. Measured data can be imported to a PC via the USB port (*optional) or connection cable.

■ACMU installation type

ACMU is an installed contamination monitoring unit that is equipped with a dedicated pump and can measure even in hydraulic systems that do not apply pressure, such as open tanks. By compressing and measuring air bubbles in the hydraulic oil, air bubbles are not mistakenly detected as contamination, so measurements can be taken even in areas where measurement is difficult due to air intrusion. It can be used in a wide range of fields such as plant equipment, ships, and hydraulic testing machines.

■BS110・BS500

BS110 and BS500 are oil bottle sampling kits. If it is difficult to take a sample of hydraulic oil directly from the hydraulic system, you can easily collect and transport the hydraulic oil by using an oil bottle sampling kit. Both BS110 and BS500 are equipped with a vacuum, which allows air mixed in the collected hydraulic oil to be evacuated, reducing waiting time before taking measurements.
