■Ultra-high weather resistance paint that surpasses fluoroplastic paints
The main material is silicone, a high-performance resin material with inorganic properties such as "ultra-high weather resistance," "heat resistance," "high hardness," "low stain resistance," and "moisture permeability," while flexible materials include acrylic resin and organic materials with elastic components. A next-generation hybrid water-based two-component curing paint with complementary properties and crack resistance. That's a hybrid silicone top.
In particular, in terms of weather resistance, it surpasses fluorine resin paints and has an expected service life of 15 to 20 years, which is among the highest in the world. It protects roofs, rooftops, and walls from deterioration factors such as ultraviolet rays, heat, and acid rain, reduces maintenance life cycle costs, and contributes to energy and CO2 savings.
■Hybrid silicone top mechanism
Hybrid Silicone Top is a water-based inorganic hybrid paint based on a special inorganic component, organopolysiloxane (silicone) resin, which is different from conventional fluorine resin paints and acrylic silicone resin paints.
At Takamoto Corporation, we have developed a hybrid silicone top whose main component is siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-), which are the inorganic properties of organopolysiloxane (silicone) resins, by adding a few inorganic substances to an organic-based resin (such as acrylic). It is called an ``inorganic hybrid paint'' to distinguish it from paints with % additives.

As a heat-shielding paint for roofs, the correlation between hybrid silicone top's ultra-high weather resistance and heat-shielding properties creates a wonderful synergistic effect in terms of both energy savings and life cycle costs.
