About This Product

■Summary

A simple and highly versatile flow rate air micrometer that uses a tapered glass tube and a float. When air that has passed through a filter and is controlled to a constant pressure by a regulator is ejected from the nozzle of the measuring head, the amount of air that flows out is proportional to the area of ​​the nozzle unless the object to be measured is placed in front of the nozzle. When an object to be measured is placed in front of the nozzle, there is a range in which the distance between the nozzle and the object and the amount of air flowing out from the nozzle are proportional. Changes in flow rate within that range are shown as interval dimensions using a flowmeter consisting of a tapered glass tube and a float. The float moves up and down as the flow rate inside the tapered glass tube changes in proportion to the change in the distance between the spout and the object to be measured. (The float rises as the flow rate increases) This can be converted into an interval dimension so that it can be read.

■Features

- Measurement time is shorter than cylinder gauges, micrometers, etc., and there is no individual error caused by the measurer. ・Since the dimensions of this machine are specified using only one tapered glass tube and one float, there is no need to worry about errors or failures due to hysteresis, backlash, aging wear, etc. - You can freely change the combination by rearranging. ・The compact design requires less space even when used as a multi-unit system.
