About This Product

■NeodymiumOur products are sintered magnets made by powder metallurgy with neodymium (Nd), iron (Fe), and boron (B) as the main ingredients, and have the highest magnetic energy among current magnets, and our products are designated as NF.

■Information about neodymium magnetsNeodymium magnets are rare earth sintered magnets (anisotropic) whose main components are iron, neodymium, and boron. After melting and pulverizing the powder to a particle size of microns, the powder is compressed using a magnetic field press (molding in a magnetic field) and then sintered to produce the magnet base material (cuboid or cylinder).

Next, the magnet base material is machined into dimensions such as round, square, ring, and tile shapes, and is then subjected to surface treatment (usually nickel plating) to create the product. Products are delivered after undergoing a magnetization process (or delivered unmagnetized depending on the customer's specifications). It has the strongest magnetic force and attraction among permanent magnets, and some have a maximum energy product of 50MGOe (Mega Gauss-Oersted).

Additionally, depending on the temperature environment and intended use, there are series with progressively higher coercive force, from the general N series to the H series, SH series, UH series, and EH series, allowing you to select the most suitable grade. Neodymium magnets are being used more and more as key parts for making devices more compact and more efficient due to their high properties.

Our neodymium magnets are used in small parts, various motors in the FA/industrial equipment field, sensors, home appliances, OA equipment, AV equipment, communication equipment, medical equipment, etc.

■Main features of neodymium magnets- The maximum energy product ((BH) max) of neodymium magnets far exceeds ferrite's 4.5MGOe and Samacoba magnet's 30MGOe, and some even exceed 48MGOe.
・Since relatively inexpensive neodymium and iron are used as the main raw materials, it has better cost performance than Samacoba magnets, which contain a lot of cobalt, and there is no need to worry about supply.
・Although it has the disadvantage that its temperature characteristics are inferior to Samacoba magnets, heat-resistant neodymium magnet materials with higher coercive force have been developed such as the H series, SH series, and UH series.
・As nearly 70% of the main components are iron, Ni electrolytic plating is standard for rust prevention.
