01. High rigidity due to unique design
Unique design with no gap between collet, body, and nut. Trapezoidal screws are used instead of threaded screws, and the precision-polished two-point support ensures that the parts fit tightly together. This unique design greatly improves gripping force and rigidity, suppressing chatter vibration. Standard collet chucks have a large gap between the body and the nut. If there are gaps between parts, the rigidity will decrease and chatter vibrations will be more likely to occur.
02.Zero collet protrusion
The collet is placed in a stable position, improving the repeatability of tool installation. Anyone can easily adjust to the optimum runout accuracy, reducing the time it takes to set tools and increasing work efficiency.
■Patented precision clamp system
The Centro chuck is designed so that the ER collet fits completely into the chuck's internal taper. In the case of conventional chucks, the collet inevitably protrudes (approximately 2 to 4 mm) due to its design. This amount of overhang caused instability during machining and loss of gripping force. The Centro P chuck has achieved high rigidity and excellent vibration damping effects through ``zero protrusion of the collet'' and ``revised screw design of the main body and nut.'' Improved run-out accuracy during machining greatly contributes to reducing tool costs and improving productivity.
03.Improved stability due to uniform gripping pressure
Because the hydraulic chuck is supported at two points, the tool gripping pressure is unstable. On the other hand, with Centro P, the collet contracts evenly, allowing for stable gripping of the tool.
04.Grasping force more than twice that of conventional ER chuck
For tools with a diameter of 20 mm, the Centro P has an overwhelming gripping force that is more than twice that of the conventional ER collet chuck.
