About This Product
A handheld LiDAR scanner using SLAM technology. Since it does not use GPS, it can be used indoors, outdoors, and underground. It scans 300,000 points per second, confirms the data using special software, and can export it to formats such as LAS and LAZ with one click.
LiDAR (short for Light Detection and Ranging) is a remote sensing technology that uses pulsed lasers (light) to measure distance. These light pulses are used to scan the surrounding space and generate precise 3D information – a 3D point cloud.
ZEB-HORIZON is a mobile 3D laser scanner equipped with LiDAR that utilizes the latest SLAM technology. If I were to briefly describe its features, it would be "durable, lightweight, easy to use, fast to capture, and easy to process." Scanning is completed just by holding it in your hand and walking.
You can estimate your own position without the need for GPS and collect accurate 3D point cloud data in a short period of time.

It is used in a wide variety of applications, from inspection and management of factories, facilities, and buildings to topographical surveys in mines, forest surveys, and ruins surveys, and slag volume calculations in metal smelters.
Taking advantage of its lightweight and compact mobile nature, it can be used in difficult-to-reach or difficult-to-access areas (such as manholes and ceiling spaces) by attaching an extendable pole or cradle (sold separately). .

■3D data processing
The accompanying software GeoSLAM Connect allows for 3D data visualization, filtering (e.g. outlier removal), workflow automation tools, and integration into third-party software applications.
With the push of a button, your data is automatically processed and saved in any folder, ready for the next step in your workflow. By using ZEB-VISION, you can easily create RGB colors in your workflow.
