FARO Orbis is a unique high-precision mobile mapping solution that is equipped with SLAM algorithms from GeoSLAM, a leading SLAM LiDAR company, and integrates FARO's flash technology. ■Features ・Fast data measurement: Orbis enables quick data acquisition, improving work efficiency. - Accurate 3D point cloud creation: Obtain the surrounding environment as a highly accurate 3D point cloud to provide more accurate and detailed spatial information. ・GeoSLAM's SLAM algorithm: Using the SLAM algorithm of GeoSLAM, a leading company in SLAM measurement, you can easily perform 3D measurements. ・FARO's flash scan technology: FARO's flash scan technology, a leading fixed laser scanner, allows you to acquire 3D point clouds with higher accuracy and definition than fixed laser scanners with a 15-second static scan. ■FARO's unique flash scan One of the features added to FARO Orbis is Flash Scan. Flash scan is a scanning method that can generate a 3D point cloud with the same level of precision as a fixed laser scanner by simply pausing for just 15 seconds during a mobile scan. ■Mobile scan SLAM technology enables high-precision scanning while moving. By holding it in your hand and moving it, you can take measurements even on steep slopes or places where you need to look down, where fixed laser scanners are not good at it, and by keeping it moving, you can scan a wide range in a short time. ■Flash scan By fixedly measuring FARO Orbis, it is possible to perform high-precision, high-density measurements like a fixed laser scanner. The measurement time is only 15 seconds, and you can measure by pressing the flash scan start button at the location where you want to capture a detailed point cloud during mobile scanning. You can use the included monopod to fix it, or you can place it on a structure.
