About This Product

■GAT™ can also be used as a partition plate to prevent droplet infection.

GAT™ transmits visible light and infrared rays, so by using it as a partition, it is possible to measure body temperature using an infrared camera and prevent droplet infection.

■What is GAT™?

Infrared Transparent Transparent Sheet (GAT™) is a polyolefin sheet that transmits visible light and infrared light at the same time. By using a unique molding technology to make an originally opaque polyolefin sheet simultaneously transmitting visible light and infrared light, we have made it possible to simultaneously conduct visual inspections and infrared thermography inspections of electrical equipment. (GAT™ was jointly developed by G: Japan Atomic Power Co., Ltd., A: Asahi Kasei Group, and T: Thermographer Co., Ltd.)

■Insulation protection cover for monitoring on distribution board

A transparent resin protective cover (acrylic or PVC) is attached to the distribution board or control panel to prevent electric shock. Visual inspection is possible with conventional transparent resins such as acrylic, but infrared rays do not pass through, making infrared thermography inspection through the protective cover impossible. By using GAT™ as a protective cover, visual inspection and infrared thermography inspection can be performed simultaneously.

■Infrared camera lens protection cover

- Can also be used as a cover to protect the lens when taking pictures with an infrared camera. ・GAT™ Cover: Can be used as a protective cover to prevent damage to the infrared camera lens due to damage to the object being photographed.

■Advantages

・Prevention of fire accidents: Early detection of abnormal heat generation locations is possible, reducing the risk of fire accidents. ・24-hour condition monitoring possible: 24-hour condition monitoring using an infrared camera is possible, allowing early detection and response to abnormal heat generation. ・Safe inspection possible: Since there is no need to remove the protective cover inside the distribution board, it is possible to prevent injuries caused by removing the protective cover and electric shocks caused by contact with live parts, allowing for safer inspection. - Efficient inspection possible: There is no need to remove the protective cover inside the distribution board, and the measurement time of infrared thermography inspection is shortened, allowing for more efficient inspection.
